  42.  - The Film Room: The film room will allow you to record and view the missions 
  43.    you have flown. See the beginning of this document for instructions.

  45.  - Aureal A3D Interactive(TM) sound support: Provides hardware accelerated 3d 
  46.    positional audio. 
  47.    To enable this support go to the sound options menu in the game, and select 
  48.    on for 3d sound enabled. If you have an Aureal supported sound card it will

  51.  - Improvements to Direct Sound 3D support: We have made adjustments to our 
  52.    sound system to create a more fulfilling experience for users with Direct

  57.  - Prologue mission 3: Sometimes after a player would inspect 97% of the craft
  58.    in Cargo area 2 the goal would appear as satisfied when it wasn't. This has 
  59.    been addressed.

  61.  - Prologue mission 7: Changes in the ordering and triggering conditions that 
  62.    make the mission more cohesive.

  64.  - Prologue mission 8: Occasionally the player's craft would inexplicably get 
  65.    disabled in the freighter region; this has been fixed.

  76.   Well, in my initial release I goofed. Mission briefing speech did not play.

  91.  Case 1: You have the Razor release:
  92.  
  93.  - Install the v2.01 update.
  94.  - Remove the read-only attribute from "XWINGALLIANCE.EXE" (if necessary).                           
  95.  - Copy the crack file "XWA201CR.EXE" to your XWA root directory, e.g. 
  96.    "C:\GAMES\XWA", execute the crack, and the CD checks are history. 
  97.  - Execute "XWINGALLIANCE.EXE" to play the game.

  99.  Case 2: You have the retail version of XWA:
  100.  
  101.  - Make a *full* HD installation of XWA from CD1.                 
  102.  - Copy the complete directory "WAVE" from CD1 to your XWA root    
  103.    directory, e.g. "C:\GAMES\XWA".                                
  104.  - Copy the complete "MOVIES" directory from CD1 to your XWA root  
  105.    directory. This will add some files to your XWA "MOVIES" dir.   
  106.  - Copy the file "DISK2.ID" from CD2 to your XWA root directory.   
  107.  - Copy all "BATTLE*.SMN" files from the "MOVIES" dir on CD2     
  108.    to your XWA "MOVIES" directory, e.g. "C:\GAMES\XWA\MOVIES".     
  109.  - Install the v2.01 update.
  110.  - Copy the supplied registry setup file "regsetup.exe" to your 
  111.    XWA root directory and execute it to adjust the game registry 
  112.    settings for No-CD playing.                                              
  113.  - Remove the read-only attribute from "XWINGALLIANCE.EXE" (if    
  114.    necessary).                                                    
  115.  - Finally copy the crack file "XWA201CR.EXE" to your XWA root    
  116.    directory and execute the crack.    
  117.  - Execute "XWINGALLIANCE.EXE" to play the game.

  119.  - Notice: This complete No-CD installation takes up ~900 megs of   
  120.    HD space. If you want to bring this down later, you can delete    
  121.    the big movie files from the "MOVIE" directory.
